Abyssal Depths Patch 4 - Version 29.040.1 - August 26, 2025
Crystal Offhands
The Crystal Weapons series has been augmented with the addition of three Crystal Offhands:
Mists Changes
Forced Dismount Changes
In large-scale fights, running into enemies on mounts had become a common strategy, as forced dismounts granted players cleanse and CC immunity, making them hard to punish. To address this, players with Disarray active will no longer receive that immunity when dismounted by damage. Solo players and small groups without Disarray will still retain the immunity, helping them escape crowd-control chains.

This patch introduces Crystal Offhands, and brings extensive combat balance changes ahead of the next Guild Season.
Crystal Offhands
The Crystal Weapons series has been augmented with the addition of three Crystal Offhands:
- Unbreakable Ward (Shield)
- Blueflame Torch (Torch)
- Timelocked Grimoire (Tome)
Mists Changes
- Adjusted Mists instance management to focus more players into each instance
- Unenchanted Lethal Mists are now less likely to have an entrance to Brecilien, but more likely to have Unstable Roads exits
- Chests in Knightfall Abbey now grant the first opener’s party one stack of Knightly Grace
- Blessing of Valor now adds immunity to Forced Movement
Forced Dismount Changes

- Forced Dismount (dismounted by damage):
- No longer grants cleanse and crowd control immunity when Disarray is active
- No longer grants cleanse and crowd control immunity when Disarray is active
- Forced Dismount in the Mists (dismounted by damage):
- 50% damage and crowd control strength reduction is now applied for 10s when dismounted by a hostile player who is in combat with another player
- 50% damage and crowd control strength reduction is now applied for 10s when dismounted by a hostile player who is in combat with another player
Other Changes
- Season winner mount skins are now delivered once to each qualifying account, rather than to each qualifying character
- Trading in Hellgates is no longer possible
- Several Albion Journal missions have had their rewards adjusted
- The maximum Buy Order amount has been decreased to 9990
- Mobs in Corrupted Dungeons now drop Silver again
- [CONTROLLER] Controller Cursor in UIs is now disabled by default
- Controller Cursor toggle state is remembered between sessions

Fixes
Vanity Fixes
- Fixed issue where the Anniversary Barbarian vanity skin appeared smaller than intended
- Fixed issue where characters would perform the wrong Journey Back animation when using the ‘Buttercup’ Direboar skin or the ‘Bountiful Harvest Ox’ Transport Ox Skin
- Demon Arrow (Wailing Bow): Fixed issue where the first target hit could receive more damage than subsequent ones
- Soulspindle Pounce (Soulspinner): Tooltip now contains info about speed buff after second cast
- Fixed issue where ingame mails relating to Antiquarian’s Den Marketplaces would not specify the Den’s city
- Fixed issue where Crystal Arena Rank rewards UI wrongly stated “Claimed” when rewards were locked for the current season until at least one arena match was played
- Fixed issue where Hide HUD Mode would prevent casting spells after shapeshifting and Overcharge activation
- Fixed issue where Overcharge would not activate when the Overcharge button was hidden by a custom HUD layout
- [MOBILE] Fixed issue where house description tooltip remained visible after entering
- [MOBILE] Fixed issue where the HUD Tracker toggle for the Adventurer’s Challenge in the HUD Editor would not work
- Fixed issue where salvaging items for Gold would not count item stacks correctly
